As a sculptor Wim Meyles (1949) exclusively uses wood for his works of art. After an initial period of figurative work, he nowadays prefers abstract (and often philosophical) creations, so that he is free to add new shapes and ideas to reality. His main sources of inspiration are psychological, social and philosophical themes.

In the past few years he has been invited to take part in a wide range of exhibitions, both in his own country and abroad.
